Kristina Matousch examines topics such as eroticism, violence, digestion and transformation. Her starting point is the meeting between the body and the everyday objects surrounding it. A meeting where intimacy is mixed with exclusion and desire with disgust.

The book also contains a conversation between Catharina Gabrielsson, Lars-Erik Hjertström Lappalainen, Karin Ohlin, Jens Soneryd and Niklas Östholm. The conversation is edited by Jens Soneryd and Stephan Truax. Jens Soneryd has also written a poem to the book's cover.
